All DSPL areas are are pleased to announce the launch of the new TA Academy for support staff. 

The TA Academy aims to: 

• Equip staff to work with vulnerable learners 
• Encourage progress at every level of need 
• Improve the wellbeing of the child, young person, family and staff
• Ensure every child and young person feels successful and happy

Top Tips for TAs

HfL Education are offering a brand new training resource for TAs in schools, to be launched on Thursday 25th September 2025.  Staff can join the event live or access the session recordings after the event.  Click on the document below to find out more information.

TA solutions sessions

These online sessions provide an opportunity for support staff to discuss any SEND issues related to their role.  A 20 min online appointment can be booked with DSPL7 staff to gain advice and strategies.  See flier below for dates and booking information.
